Role Details

• Location: Edinburgh (4 Queen Street) with occasional travel to Glasgow & events.
• Salary: Up to £27k
• Company bonus: up to 10%
• Please note: We are unable to offer sponsorship.

Note: This role involves working flexibly on location and occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Your Role in ClearSky

We are looking for a passionate, creative individual to join our team. This is an entry-level role where raw talent and great ideas matter more than years of experience.

What you will deliver

• Social Media & Video: Editing social videos, writing simple captions, basic colour grading, and creating engaging short-form content from our podcast.
• Graphic Design: Crafting LinkedIn carousels, infographics, and supporting the wider team with brand assets.
• Behind the Scenes: Capturing the "human" side of ClearSky, from office moments to our brilliant teams in action.
• Presentation Design: Helping the team look their best with pitch decks and presentation designs (we use Google Slides).

Events: Getting stuck into event preparation and attending live events to create visual content for our internal and external channels.

Who We Are Looking For

• A Creative Eye: A portfolio that shows off your style and talent (in any form!).
• Graphic Design Foundations: You have a good grasp of design principles and a keen eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Passion: You love social media, video content, and coming up with fresh ideas.
• Initiative: You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see an opportunity and go for it.
• Software Confidence: You are confident using the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro or After Effects) and Google Slides. However, if you have skills in other creative programs, please share them with us, we’d love to find out more about what you can do!

Collaborative Spirit: A self-starter who loves making great content and feels just as comfortable brainstorming with the team as they do presenting to a client.
